About the Product; SEGUROFERO; is a high-quality iron chelate with a 4.8 ortho-ortho isomer value, containing 6.0% EDDHA Iron (Fe). It is used to remedy Iron (Fe) deficiency observed in fruit trees, viticulture, pistachios, strawberries, greenhouse and open-field vegetable production, all agricultural production areas, and ornamental plants.

Thanks to its 100% water-soluble structure, it can be easily applied through drip irrigation and other irrigation systems. It can be highly absorbed by plants within a wide pH range (3–11). While showing rapid effect in the soil, its long-lasting persistence reliably meets the plant’s iron needs. It can be safely used in all soil types.

Segurofero: When soil pH is above 7, the activity of soluble and available Iron is minimized. In plant production above pH 7, the appearance of Iron (Fe) deficiency (also known as Chlorosis) becomes inevitable. Iron (Fe) activates many enzymes (catalase, oxidase, etc.) in the plant, initiating certain biochemical reactions. In its absence, these reactions are disrupted, the chlorophyll structure deteriorates, and leaves turn yellow. The deficiency manifests as interveinal yellowing in young leaves. In severe deficiencies, leaves begin to dry from the tips. Besides high pH, excess Phosphate and Nitrate consumption by cultivated plants, excessive moisture, etc., are the main factors causing Iron (Fe) deficiency.

This product can be applied both to the soil and foliarly. The dose, adjusted according to the cultivated plant, is diluted with the necessary amount of water and injected into the irrigation system for soil applications, or sprayed onto the leaves with a sufficient amount of water for foliar applications. Although it can be mixed with other fertilizers and pesticides, always perform a preliminary test before mixing. Nothing should be eaten or drunk during application, care should be taken to avoid skin contact, and if contact occurs, wash thoroughly with clean water. Foliar application is not recommended on windy, dewy, frosty, or rainy days. Application should be done in the morning or late afternoon. Store the product in a sheltered place away from children and pets (at 5-35 °C). It is recommended to use fertilizer after performing leaf and/or soil analysis.
